This book appealed to me for a few reasons. I really wanted to absorb as much LGBT+ content as I could this month in celebration of Pride and when I saw that an ARC was available for this book I got excited. It’s a debut novel and was short enough that I just had to fit it in my schedule!
After reading the first book in the series and loving it, I was ecstatic to have the second book in my hands so that I could read it right away
Alex convinced me to read ‘Vampire Academy’ recently and I had to keep going after the first book. She talked them up a lot and I wanted to finish the series out. Without further ado, here’s my review of the second installment of the series.
This book was features on the Riveted Lit website for free this month. I read it when it first came out and saw this as an opportunity to give it a second chance because I didn’t absolutely love it the first time.
The cover caught my attention as soon as this book came out. I purchased it right away but it sat on my TBR shelf for a while. I’m glad I finally picked it up.
Happy Pride, Everyone! I picked this book up because it was a free book Rived Lit was offering. I had always wanted to read it and Kayla had read it once so I decided to give it a try.
This book and the first sequel, ‘Becoming Skye’, were part of the Bookworm Box’s May 2020 digital YA book box. ‘Chasing Skye’ gave me an opportunity I wouldn’t normally give myself: to branch out and read something out of my comfort zone. I was excited to experience something a little different than normal and I plan on giving both books a shot, with a review for the second book in the series coming soon.
Kayla decided to give this book a second chance and asked Alex to read it with her. After our journey, we decided to give “Aristotle and Dante…” 4 Tree Stars. Read our review to find out why!
First off, happy Pride month! I wanted to read a few novels this month which celebrate LGBT+ characters. Every month, the Riveted Lit website features multiple free books on their website. This was one I'd had my eye on for a while. A perfect opportunity!
I have read two of Jenn Bennett’’s other books and have always loved the way she writes contemporary romance books so when I saw “Serious Moonlight” I bought right away and was excited to read it.
