Ok, so I didn’t plan on reading this book. I had a whole plan in place for this month and this wasn’t on it. However, Kayla was raving about it so much that I had to read it immediately
I purchased this book as it was part of the book club that Kayla and I are a part of. Once I read what it was about I was really excited to read it because Vikings have always intrigued me and I was hoping for a good love story.
For July’s book of the month, we received "Girl, Serpent, Thorn" by Melissa Bashardoust! The book came with exclusive foiling on the cover and a beautiful dust jacket created by @alicemariapower.
Kayla read this book when it first came out and has been talking about it for ages. While she would give me snippets of what the book was about, she definitely kept a lot of it a secret, and I’m thankful for that. I finally sat down and gave it a shot
I haven’t read a book about monsters in a while so when Kayla mentioned this book I was definitely interested! Clara’s story felt emotional and I was ready for the ride I was about to go on.
As soon as I saw the summary for this book I knew I was going to want to read it. I’m a big fan of princes and cheesy rom-coms. This story had both so I bought it right away.
I was looking for a cute, quick, YA rom-com. I stumbled upon this book when scrolling through Amazon and decided to give it a chance. As you tell by previous reviews I am a huge fan of reading about book lovers.
I didn't know anything about Sally Thorne or "The Hating Game" but it kept popping up all over my social media and I felt like it was a sign if I kept seeing it every where I looked.
I've alway been a big fan of Sarah J Maas books and when she announced this one I preordered it right away!
After reading the first book in the series and loving it, I was ecstatic to have the second book in my hands so that I could read it right away
